Dubai-Based Ghanaian Man Marries Three Choir Members in a Historic Four-Day Celebration(Photos)
In an event that has left many
stunned and others celebrating cultural boldness, Dubai-based Ghanaian, Nicholas
Mbir, has officially married three women Angelina Prah, Grace Agyarko, and
Esther Abass in a grand ceremony that has become the talk of the town.
The epic wedding celebration took
place on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Sakoro Park, near the Salvation Divine
Miracle Church in Winneba, Central Region, Ghana. But this wasn’t your typical wedding
it was the culmination of a four-day marital marathon, with separate engagement
ceremonies held for each bride from Wednesday, April 23, to Friday, April 25, before
a combined celebration on Saturday.
Adding another fascinating layer,
all three brides are reportedly members of the same church choir, where Mbir
himself serves as choirmaster. Talk about harmonizing love and leadership!
Photos from the colorful
ceremonies, shared online by a witness, Abeku Adams Ekumfi, stirred
conversations about traditions and religious beliefs. Abeku celebrated the
occasion, stating that "the myth Christianity forced on us is broken by
the power of the Holy Spirit," framing the multi-wife union as a
reclaiming of cultural identity.
Beyond his choirmaster duties, Nicholas Mbir is also said to have been appointed as the Regional President of the Brotherhood of Iron and Gold (BIG), a notable West African organization.
In his now-viral post, Abeku
praised Mbir's bold step, writing:
"By GOD'S GRACE, a brother
married three wives in Winneba this week one on Wednesday, another on Thursday,
and the last on Friday. On Saturday, there was a grand celebration for all
three wives. EQUITY PREVAILED."
As videos of the vibrant festivities make the rounds, many are applauding the groomsman's openness and the trio of brides who proudly shared their big day and their new surname in what can only be described as a wedding for the history books.
