Two Missing Children Found Dead in Parked Vehicle Near Church
What began as a routine Sunday
visit to church has ended in heartbreak for a family in the Kuru District of
Jos South, Plateau State. Two of three siblings reported missing have been
found dead under circumstances that have shaken the local community to its
core.
According to reports, Diamond,
Enoch, and Roseline Jang were last seen on April 27, 2025, heading to a
Catholic church at Dan Karang Trade Centre. When they failed to return home,
their father, Samuel Jang, raised the alarm and reported the disappearance to
the police.
Tragically, the children were
discovered unconscious inside a tinted Honda vehicle parked near the church.
The car, belonging to a man identified as Mr. Davou, aka “Fire,” was reportedly
locked and unattended. The children had apparently been trapped inside for
hours.
They were immediately rushed to Vom
Christian Hospital, but it was too late for Diamond and Enoch two of the
siblings were pronounced dead. Roseline remains in critical condition, fighting
for her life.
The discovery sparked outrage among
residents, who attempted to take justice into their own hands by confronting
the car’s owner. Police officers from the Kuru Division quickly intervened,
rescuing the suspect and transferring him to the State Criminal Investigation
Department (CID) for further investigation and protection.
As the community mourns the
devastating loss, questions are being raised about how such a tragedy could
occur in broad daylight, near a place of worship. Was this a terrible accident or
is there more to the story?
Authorities have yet to confirm the
exact cause of the children’s deaths, and investigations are ongoing.
