Nigerian billionaire politician and senator, Prince Ned Nwoko, has addressed the circulating rumors claiming that he has welcomed a child with actress Chika Ike, a colleague of his wife, Regina Daniels.

The speculation began when a popular Instagram blog, Gistlover, alleged that Chika Ike had given birth to Ned Nwoko’s child, which supposedly led Regina Daniels to deactivate her Instagram page. The report quickly gained traction, fueling discussions across social media.

Taking to Instagram, Senator Nwoko debunked the claims, emphasizing that as a public figure, false stories about him and his family are not uncommon. He dismissed the rumors of him fathering a child with Chika Ike and planning to marry her as baseless and a product of malicious speculation.

In addition, he refuted reports suggesting he made statements regarding music icon 2Baba (2face Idibia) and polygamy. His PR team clarified that he is currently engaged in a national assignment, focusing on delivering on his political mandate, and has no time for distractions.

His communications team further stressed that their office remains open to journalists for fact-checking and verification. They reminded media professionals of the legal consequences of spreading fake news, urging the public to rely solely on official statements.

As a public figure and with his wife also being an actress, it is not unusual for bloggers seeking attention to fabricate such stories. However, Senator Nwoko is currently on a national assignment, focused on delivering on his political mandate, and has no time for distractions.
