A Nigerian Muslim lady, Aryam, has taken a surprising U-turn nearly two years after publicly praising her cousin’s husband for the way he treated his four wives.

On October 30, 2023, Aryam shared a glowing post about the man, expressing admiration for his principles and how well he cared for his wives, including her cousin.

"Omooooo this my cousin is sooooooo luckyyyyy to have this kind of man as husband… omo she’s lucky. His principles are so MashaAllah and the way he treats his wives, all 4 of them," she wrote at the time.

However, on February 20, 2025, Aryam shocked her followers by quoting her previous post with a stark reversal:

"I take back my words mehnnnnnnnnn 💔," she wrote, hinting at a possible change in circumstances.

While she did not provide details on what led to her change of heart, social media users were quick to speculate, with many eager to know what went wrong in the seemingly perfect polygamous marriage.
