Lucky Aiyedatiwa Takes Oath of Office

Lucky Aiyedatiwa has officially been sworn in as the governor of Ondo State, marking the beginning of his first full four-year term.

The swearing-in ceremony took place on Monday, February 24, at the Ondo State Sports Complex in Akure, the state capital, with dignitaries, party members, and supporters in attendance.

Aiyedatiwa, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), secured victory in the Ondo State governorship election held on November 17, 2024. His inauguration comes after the passing of former Governor Rotimi Akeredolu in December 2023.

As he assumes office, expectations are high for his administration to build on past achievements and address the pressing needs of the state.
