Nigerian rapper Odumodu Blvck has come under fire after sharing a photo of himself lying in a hospital bed, alongside images from an accident scene.

The artist posted the photos with a dramatic caption:

"SURVIVED. THE MACHINE MUST ARRIVE IN ONE PIECE. IT IS A MUST. THE MACHINE IS COMING."

While some fans initially expressed concern and sent him well wishes, social media users on X (formerly Twitter) were quick to point out that the accident photos he shared were not new.

Eagle-eyed fans recalled that Odumodu Blvck had posted the same accident photos two years ago, raising suspicions about his latest claim. Many accused him of using an old near-death experience to gain attention and create hype for an upcoming project.

"This is literally the same accident you posted years ago. Why are you recycling it like it just happened?" one user wrote.

"Anything for clout these days, even if it means pretending to have a fresh accident," another added.

The backlash quickly escalated, with many urging the rapper to clarify the situation. As of now, Odumodu Blvck has not responded to the accusations.

With "THE MACHINE" mentioned in his caption, some fans speculate that the post was a publicity stunt to promote new music or a project. Others, however, found the approach distasteful, arguing that faking an accident—if true—diminishes the seriousness of real-life incidents.

While controversy is nothing new in the entertainment industry, it remains to be seen whether Odumodu Blvck will address the allegations or let the buzz fade away.
