Love is in the Air! Ruger Announces He's Getting Married This Year

 

Nigerian singer Michael Adebayo Olayinka, popularly known as Ruger, has revealed his plans to get married this year, marking the end of his self-proclaimed “Playboy” era.

The Afrobeat star shared that attending numerous weddings recently has made him reflect on his lifestyle and reconsider his approach to relationships. Ruger, who hinted that he will soon be turning 30, expressed his desire to settle down in 2025.

Taking to Snapchat, he wrote:

"Everybody is just getting married. Got me questioning myself—how long will I continue this Playboy shiii? I’m settling down this year, period. I’ll soon be 30, tf."

This revelation comes after Ruger previously admitted that relationships haven’t worked for him. In a recent interview, he described himself as a “loverboy” who initially wants to commit but often loses interest over time.

"I am a loverboy; it’s just now that I understand that relationships don’t work for me. But normally, my first instinct when I see a girl is to think about how I can get serious with her," he stated.
