From Love to Murder: Fiokee Opens Up About His Sister's Tragic Murder
The shocking story of Emrich Effanga’s tragic death has left many in deep sorrow, as her brother, popular guitarist Fiokee, revealed how she was allegedly murdered by her boyfriend, Ndifreke Isaiah—a man she met in church.
According to Fiokee, Emrich met
Ndifreke Isaiah in church, where he pursued a relationship with her under the
guise of being a godly man. However, it didn’t take long for her to realize
that he was not the person he pretended to be. Sensing danger, she decided to
end the relationship.
Unfortunately, Ndifreke did not take the breakup well. Witnesses from Emrich’s shop and residential area reported that they had seen him physically abuse her twice. Concerned for her safety, they warned him to stay away.
When Emrich confronted him for showing up unexpectedly, Ndifreke allegedly attacked her and strangled her to death. After committing the heinous act, he reportedly stole her phone, ATM card, and shop key before fleeing the scene.
In an attempt to cover his tracks,
Ndifreke allegedly inserted his SIM card into Emrich’s phone and began using it
as if nothing had happened.
Later that evening, concern grew among Emrich’s church members when she failed to attend a program she never missed—one she had even posted about on Facebook the previous day, February 5. Worried, they decided to check on her the following day. Tragically, they discovered she had been killed.
Despite his actions, Ndifreke attended church as usual on Friday evening, unaware that members had already grown suspicious. When security personnel were alerted, he tried to leave the church while pretending to take a call—ironically, on his deceased girlfriend’s phone.
However, a second security team was
waiting outside, and he was apprehended before he could escape.
