Skepta Throws Shade: 'Bring It On, Portable

British rapper Skepta has jokingly acknowledged that he might soon be on the receiving end of Portable’s infamous online rants.

The speculation comes after Portable, in his usual fashion, called out Asake and Olamide following the recently held Grammy Awards, expressing frustration that Olamide chose to support Asake instead of him.

This outburst is just the latest in Portable’s history of online feuds. Recently, he praised Davido during a meetup in the U.S., only to drag him online days later.

Now, with Skepta unexpectedly trending, he took to X (formerly Twitter) to express his curiosity.

“Why am I trending? Lol,” he tweeted.

A follower responded: “I think you know why.”

Skepta then replied: “I’ve just seen Portable is dragging somebody again, apparently I’m next. We dey wait lol.”

Earlier in 2024, Skepta and Portable collaborated on the song ‘Tony Montana’, with the British artist flying Portable to the UK and treating him with VIP-level hospitality. Portable, thrilled by the experience, shared clips of his lavish treatment and publicly praised Skepta for his generosity.

Despite their past collaboration, fans are now wondering whether Portable will eventually turn on Skepta—as he has done with others. For now, Skepta seems unfazed, laughing off the possibility and waiting to see what happens next.
