The drama surrounding Nigerian music icon Innocent "2Face" Idibia continues to unfold as his mother, Rose Idibia, breaks her silence on his divorce from Annie Macaulay and his newfound love for Natasha Osawaru.

Recently, 2Face made headlines after publicly announcing his engagement to Natasha Osawaru, the granddaughter of billionaire philanthropist Gabriel Igbinedion, the Esama of Benin. In an Instagram post, the singer declared his love for Natasha, expressing his desire to marry her.

This revelation came just weeks after 2Face confirmed his separation and impending divorce from his wife of 13 years, actress Annie Macaulay.

Following the news of her son's engagement, Mrs. Rose Idibia took to social media to express her concerns. In a heartfelt video, she pleaded with Natasha to "free" her son, insinuating that the Edo State lawmaker may have used traditional charms or "juju" on him.

She further claimed that 2Face is no longer in his right senses, implying that his recent decisions might have been influenced by external forces. She called on Nigerians, particularly mothers, to intervene and urge Natasha to release her son.

Backing their mother’s concerns, Hyacinth and Charles Idibia, 2Face’s brothers, shared the video on their Instagram pages, amplifying her plea and stirring even more reactions online.
