The federal trial involving music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs continues to send ripples through the entertainment industry, and now, rapper Meek Mill is publicly stepping forward to clear his name. Taking to X (formerly Twitter) in the early hours of Wednesday, Meek expressed his frustration at being indirectly associated with bombshell claims made in the now-dropped lawsuit by Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones Jr. against Diddy.

"In the midst of Diddy on federal trial I wanna bring back up 'Lil Rod' and his lawsuit that was dropped,” Meek wrote. His crucial point? "He never said my name but these blogs amplified that whole agenda against me. My culture don't believe it but it's an attack on my brand.”

Lil Rod’s lawsuit, initially filed in early 2024, alleged disturbing sexual remarks by Diddy and boasts about intimate encounters with a "Philadelphia rapper who once dated Nicki Minaj." While Meek Mill was never explicitly named in the legal document, online speculation quickly linked him to the description, an association he is now firmly rejecting.

Meek also shed light on his personal experience at Diddy’s events, stating, "The craziest thing I seen at a Puff party is coke vibes and that’s going on at all these parties… I’m from Norf Philly, I had millions since I was 23! I don’t even wanna be addicted to weed! Not judging but I see it different!” His words suggest a different kind of excess, while still emphasizing his personal boundaries.

He didn't shy away from criticizing what he perceives as misleading online narratives, including a recent interview clip involving YouTuber Luce Cannon, which he labeled as "bait." Meek highlighted his old-school approach, recalling running into figures like Suge Knight and Big U in LA without the "camera phone vibes," focusing instead on "showing [people] out there it’s more to life with Black success.”

Meek Mill’s candid posts arrive amidst intense scrutiny on Diddy, who is currently facing multiple lawsuits and a serious criminal investigation involving allegations of trafficking, assault, and more. It seems everyone in Diddy's orbit is now under a microscope, and Meek is making sure his stance is loud and clear.
