From Reality TV to Law Degree: Kim Kardashian Graduates After 6 Years(Photos)
Forget the red carpets and
reality TV drama for a moment, Kim Kardashian has just celebrated a monumental
personal victory that proves sheer determination can truly move mountains!
After a grueling six-year journey, the Skims founder has officially graduated
from law school, capping it off with a special backyard commencement ceremony
in Beverly Hills yesterday, Wednesday, May 21st.
This wasn't a walk in the park. At 44, and without a college degree, Kim
famously opted for California's unique legal apprenticeship program after
facing multiple setbacks with the traditional bar exams. She chose the path
less traveled, immersing herself in legal mentorship rather than traditional
law school lectures.
Her mentor, attorney Jessica Jackson, aptly put it in a clip shared by
Kim: “No law school lectures, no ivory tower shortcuts, just determination and
a mountain of case log books to read.” Jackson revealed Kim dedicated a
staggering "18 hours a week, 48 weeks a year for six straight
years"—that's a total of 5,184 hours of legal study!
And she did all this while raising four children, running multiple
businesses, filming television shows, and actively advocating in
courtrooms for justice reform. It's a testament to her fierce desire to fight
for justice, a passion she first publicly shared in 2019.
While she famously conquered the "baby bar" on her
fourth attempt in December 2021, the final hurdle the main Bar Exam still
awaits her. But for now, Kim K is celebrating this incredible milestone, having
proven that with enough grit, you can truly achieve anything, no matter how
unconventional the path.
