Nollywood Stars Gather in Uyo to Support Ini Edo at Her Father’s Burial(photos/video)

 

The Nigerian film industry came together in Uyo on March 21, 2025, as Nollywood stars joined actress Ini Edo to bid a final farewell to her late father.

Ini Edo lost her father a few weeks ago, and her family honored his memory with a befitting burial ceremony. The event was filled with love, emotions, and support from friends, family, and colleagues.

Several Nollywood stars were present to console and support Ini Edo during this difficult time. Among them were: Rita Dominic, Uche Jombo, Desmond Elliot, Mary Remmy Njoku, Nancy Isime, IK Ogbonna, Lilian Afegbai, Ruth Kadiri, and many more.

Their presence reflected the strong bond and unity within the Nollywood community, showing that beyond the screen, they stand together in both celebration and sorrow.

The burial was a solemn occasion, filled with prayers, tributes, and moments of reflection as family, friends, and colleagues paid their last respects. Ini Edo, who has always been vocal about her love for her family, was deeply moved by the outpouring of love and support.
