Abisola Ajimobi, Daughter of Late Oyo Governor, Passes Away at 42

Abisola Ajimobi, the first child of the late former Governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, has passed away at the age of 42.

According to close sources, she died in the early hours of Thursday, March 27, 2025, after a battle with cancer.

Abisola was married to Kolapo Kola-Daisi, and together, they were blessed with three children. She was a Special Adviser to Nigeria’s Minister of Budget and Planning, Atiku Bagudu, and played a significant role in managing some of her family’s businesses. She was also the owner of the luxury fashion store, Florence H Boutique.

Her father, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, who served as Governor of Oyo State, passed away in June 2020 at the age of 70.

Her passing has left family, friends, and associates mourning the loss of a beloved mother, wife, and businesswoman.
