Actress, Quinta Brunson Files for Divorce from Husband Kevin Anik
Award-winning actress and Abbott
Elementary creator, Quinta Brunson, has officially filed for divorce from
her husband, Kevin Anik, after three years of marriage.
According to court documents filed
in Los Angeles County Superior Court on Wednesday, March 19, Brunson cited irreconcilable
differences as the reason for the split. While the couple’s official date of
separation remains undisclosed, the documents confirm that they have gone their
separate ways.
Brunson and Anik, who tied the knot
in October 2021, have largely kept their relationship out of the public eye.
Anik, who reportedly works in California’s legal cannabis industry, rarely made
public appearances alongside Brunson, allowing the actress to maintain a strong
professional identity separate from her personal life.
The couple did not have children
together, and according to court filings, they had a postnuptial agreement in
place. Brunson has requested that any disputed property and assets be divided
according to the terms of that agreement.
As she navigates this personal
transition, Brunson remains at the height of her career. With Abbott
Elementary continuing to receive critical acclaim and multiple award
nominations, fans can expect her to stay focused on her work.
Neither Brunson nor Anik has
publicly commented on the divorce yet.
