Donda is taken from Kanye’s mother, Donda West, who passed away a couple of years ago, but Kaidence seems to have come from their own minds, and most likely, has something to do with the musical and poetic implications of the word “cadence.” It’s cool, I guess.

The couple succeeded in naming their child with a name that starts with the letter “K”.
